Kill Bill is a landmark of art direction: framing, colours, costumes and sets you can recognise from a single image. We started there to imagine the shoot for the upcoming World Cup kits for 11teamsports.
The idea: a deep red backdrop, sharp lighting, katanas, black sunglasses and looks staged like movie characters. Every kit gets its own shot, pose and attitude, and we took it all the way to the poster: Kick Bill, a film by Point de Penalty.
The shoot is part of a global campaign run with Point de Penalty: photo, content, affiliation and direct traffic to the website, with an offer on the kits and free flocking ahead of the World Cup.
A project where cinema aesthetics serve the product, to make people want to wear the kits before the first whistle.
