After the statues and columns of the home kit, we bring the away kit indoors. Studio, red velvet, soft light: this time the kit does the talking, not the backdrop. We wanted to break the codes a little and do something calmer, in the studio.
And it has plenty to say. Hummel slipped five symbols of the Valenciennes area into the fabric: the swan that gave the city its name, the mine cart, the factory, Nungesser's White Bird and the Stade du Hainaut. A whole territory in watermark on an elegant beige lifted with burgundy, a nod to the 2012 centenary kit.
A photo reveal, no film this time. Thank you to Hummel for the trust, and to the whole team who brought this project to life.
